George Zimmerman Has Accepted $250K Bid For Gun He Used To Kill Trayvon Martin
George Zimmerman accepted a $250,000 bid Friday for the gun he used in killing of Trayvon Martin, according to multiple outlets.
According to TMZ, the former neighborhood watchman took the last-minute offer after striking an earlier $150,000 deal with a Florida bar owner.
Zimmerman told KTVN-TV that he has taken up the offer of $250,000.
An earlier bid of $150,000 from a bar owner in Daytona Beach fell through according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal.
Zimmerman, who was acquitted in 2013 for the fatal shooting of Martin, had tried several times to sell the firearm through online auctions.
